Mayumi Tonomura

Born to a family of kimono artisans, Mayumi Tonomura is a Kyoto-based artist who studied classical Italian mosaic art in Ravenna, Italy. Alongside her mosaic installations for schools and numerous commercial facilities, she has applied her refined style to a variety of cross-genre works and currently runs mosaic studio “marmosaico” in Kitayama, Kyoto.
